The Friar Edit
The friar is described as a medium height, middle age and has a forget able face with a slightly receding hair line. His character qualities are kindness toward the families he meets but t not completely genuine. he likes to tell others of the vast knowledge that he has learned from the bible. He argues a lot with the summoner who points out to him that even though they both collect money he does it for a righteous cause. Chaucer's opinion of this man concludes him to be boring with his droning on about how the world began and his total unimaginative story being how the summoner is taken, literally to Hell by the devil.
